“Islamic State” sentenced Erdogan to death

“Islamic State” sentenced Erdogan to death

As reported by News.ru, the religious leader of the radical group “Islamic State” Abu Khabab Al-Iraqi passed the fatwa (legal opinion) to sentence the president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan to death.

According to the fatwa, the Turkish president supports pro-American international coalition and this is why he should be sentenced to death. Al-Iraqi said that Erdogan is an abjuror who sold out himself to Christians, Alafits and Jews. He threatened that if the presedent does not repent in the nearest future, he will be destined to die.

It is worth reminding that ISIS called Turkish citizens to support the war with “Satan” and topple Erdogan government. Moreover, the fighters declared their intention to capture the Turkish city Istanbul.

Fighters’ reaction does not seem to be quite adequate as a number of Muslim countries’ leaders have also voiced their support of the coalition. It is only Erdogan who deserves to be sentenced to death though. It might be due to Ankara having sponsored the fighters for a while and then started supporting the international coalition. This is why the radical militants are angry with Erdogan. However, such a reaction does not seem to be reasonable if Erdogan supported the fighters. The fighters’ attitude towards the Turkish president cannot but seem to be quite odd.
